About the Journal

Science and Technology Journal (STJ) is a peer-reviewed, open-access publication devoted to advancing knowledge across all major domains of science and technology. The journal publishes original research articles, reviews, perspectives, and news that foster scientific understanding and technological innovation addressing both global challenges and regional priorities, particularly in North-East India.

STJ welcomes submissions in life sciences, biotechnology, physical and chemical sciences, environmental science, engineering, computer science, and emerging technologies. Each manuscript undergoes a rigorous double-blind peer-review process to ensure originality, quality, and scientific merit.

As an open-access journal, all published articles are freely available worldwide under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0) . Authors retain copyright and grant the journal the right of first publication, allowing unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original author(s) and the source are properly credited.

APC Waiver (through 31 August 2026): No article processing charges (APC) apply for accepted papers published within this period. There are no submission, page, or color printing charges.

Indexing and Archiving

Science and Technology Journal (STJ) is integrated with major indexing and preservation systems including Crossref (DOI registration), ORCID, Google Scholar, the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), and the Internet Archive . Archived issues are openly accessible through the journal’s website and institutional repositories to ensure permanent availability and long-term digital preservation.
